    found another leak

After replacing my busted upper radiator hose, I found that my coolant system has developed yet another leak. Here are some pics.

I think its the heater core hose, but I want to be absolutely sure before I order one.

Could anyone please tell me what this hose is and where I could buy it? I'd appreciate it a ton!

Looks like it goes into the firewall, so it would be a heater hose. Just go to autozone or something like that and ask for that hose. I would get both while you are in there.

That same hose was recently leaking on my car also. It does go through the firewall and to the core. In my cae, it was only the tip of the hose that was leaking, right where it meets the t-stat. I removed it, cut the tip off and reconnected. There is enough slack if this has not been done before. If you have the same situation, I would reccomend you do the same. Good luck.

Or you could go for the grand cure and replace all of the hoses. I just can't bring myself to trust 19 year old cooling system hoses so I replaced them all (and the radiator & expansion tank).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks for the responses guys. I really want to just replace all of the hoses, but I dont have the money for it atm.

So I can just buy that diameter hose at autozone? its not a special part?
