MSD 6A and 6AL anyone have any experience?

looking at investing in a 6A box since the rev limiter in the AL is no interest to me, anyone have any experience with these on our cars? I think Ive seen them in a few pics on e30s, Do they work with our m20 engines or? Curious as I can get an outstanding price on a 6A box.

They work fine with our cars, i had the 6BTM box for the igniton retard, but it had all the functions of the 6A. Easy to wire up like 1/2 an to an hour to do.
