Happy Holidays to all!
I drove around quite a bit today and while on the highway I ran out of gas. The needle on the gauge was never really pegged at the end and the light never came on until I was litterally pulling over.
The OBC read "51 miles" to empty so I feel a bit let down by it. I have read from others here that they have seen theirs go to "---" and were still running so I thought I was good until I could get off the highway less than 5 miles where I was left stranded.
Today wasn't the best day for this to happen but luckily I was close enought to my dad's house and he bailed me out.
I realize it is not the OBC's fault but the fuel senders that supply the level. Still, I was dissapointed and of course, pissed off.
I just can't rely on the OBC or the gauge for that matter until the senders are replaced.
Hope everyone had a nice day!
