Sunroof cables and removal, please look

Ok as some of you might know from another thread of mine, my sunroof literally blew off yesterday taking most of the mounting brackets and track with it.

Well i'm trying to avoid welding the new panel in and keep a funtional roof in the car so I started taking the entire sunroof from my parts car apart. The only thing I have left to do is get the cables un attached and i'm golden. I'm sure somebody has had to fix a snapped cable so can somebody please step up and let me know. I'm thinking that you have to get it from the motor, but I was holding off pulling the black headpanel down until I knew for sure.

Ya just unscrew those Retaining Panels, then Use the manual crank tool and crank the sunrooff open and the cables will push them selves right out.
