I ordered a set, and they all have different textures. They are all sticky backed foam, but seriously have 3 different textures on the other side.
    Very disappointing.

it's about $60 from bavauto, so $40? I was going to use it but I just can't get myself to cover the only visible CF on my hood.

Since this post of Josh's got the bump, I am gonna throw some more ideas at you guys.

I have talked about "the insulator" for quite a while on here. Here is a place where it can be bought: there are several others. If going underhood, the double sided type MUST be used, and sealed with their "special" aluminum tape, then glued on. Not your traditional BMW look, but the shit WORKS, ok?

    The Insulator:

"Landau Top Adhesive" from DAP will blow your mind. A gallon is about $25, a dirt cheap spray gun is about $10, just pour into spray gun and spray.

I buy the 5 gallon buckets of the stuff.
