Lots of problems all today. Neep help.

Well my car went to shit, starting today. Symptoms were very squeaky sound comming from under the hood when in 1st and 2nd gear, high pitched squeak. Then I went to start my car and it wouldnt turn over right away. I was parked on a hill so I pushed it down and got it started. Next time about 20min later it started fine. Then I started it before work and turned it over got a weak spark and had to hold it about 20 seconds before she woould crank over, still squeaked in 1st and 2nd on the way to work. After work about 4hrs later. Weak start again held it for 20seconds agian and she started. Drove home this time sweek was in all 1-4th gears. Also the Anti-lock brake light kept comming on and when that would come on the check engine would also come on. They came and went multiple times. Also felt like she was gonna stall a few times. (dropped down to 500rpms)

Any idea of what problem(s) may be causing all of this.

The squeaking sound, failure to start, error lights, and DME faults would all be consistant with a problem with the alternator. Could be as simple as a loose belt or a failure of the alternator.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Loose belt, and I would add, check your battery terminals, they may be loose. ;)
