What is the highest safe rev limit for an M20 if race valve springs are installed?

Also what are the key limiting factors in the engine for higher RPMs?

7100RPM is about the highest you should turn a m20.

Overall its pointless to turn that high, as however you build it the max power will be alot lower RPM then that.

Every engine is different and has its own limits but one thing stands as limiting all:

the stroke length. The shorter the stroke length the more applicable it is for high-revving applications.
