    Intermittent starter problem

My car is having starter issues. I know for sure that the starter was replaced just a few days before I bought the car, but something strange is going on. The night I got the car, it wouldn't start, just a dull click and then nothing, but all the lights and everything else came on at full power.

So the next day Andrew and I got a test light, and tested that there was power to the starter. When I turned the key, the test light and starter arced and the car started. So ok, there is power to the starter. It started fine the whole rest of the day, and the day after as well.

Day before yesterday, I go out to move the car to a different spot on the driveway, and nothing again, just the same dull click coming from under the hood. Andrew is coming over tomorrow again to see if we can fix it, anyone have any ideas?

Andrew and I fixed it. It appears a grounding strap on the starter was VERY loose. He tightened it up, I turned the key, and it fired right up.
