Low Level--- You'll have a blast with a 318is. Everyone I know that has owned one absolutely loves it. I don't suggest spending the kind of money it would cost to build a stroker M42, especially for a street car. You'll spend more on the motor than you did the car. ;) But, just to let you know, that is what can be done to the M42.

So there were only small-case diffs, huh? No big-case diffs with the ratios I want? Maybe a big-case diff isn't absolutely necessary for an M42, but if it can fit, and there's a correct ratio, I'd like to get one, just to be on the safe side. Nothing like a diff blowing itself to bits when you're at high speed...
