    mystery wires in footwell.

So, I was trying to find out why my central locking isn't working today, so I took off the knee bolster and driver side kick panel to check things out. I found a couple wires and connectors not attached to anything.

two wires in my hand, and also the white connector above my thumb coming out of the speaker well

and these two black ones, also the white connector above my thumb coming from under the knee bolster

and these two, coming under the knee bolster

If anyone could tell me where these connect to I'd really appreciate it.

speaker wires. door chime wires. aftermarket speaker wires.

In order of the 3 pics.

None have anything to do with your locking system.

the relay pack that the bottom of the speaker hole is what you are looking for. One of the 2 controls the locks, the other controls the dome light.

I wanna find out the birfday on my '87 325is so we can have cake on the 20th anniversary.

Car can have oil: I love cake.

Car problems FTL. Car payments on a car I don't love FTL. 2 decades on an E30 that is cheap and fun to drive AND gets looks everywhere I go FTW.
