    Broken sensor? What is this?

This wire that connects to the top of the bobber in this reservoir is broken clean off. The disconnected part sitting to the right of the reservoir runs back to the ABS system. What is it, and can it be replaced easily, and more importantly, for how much?

The wires on the reservoir are for the brake fluid level sensor.
The thing to the right of it looks like a cruise control or thottle cable.
    Does your cruise work? lol

Dan is right, that is the cruise control cable. Its broken.

Nothing is wrong with the brake fluid reservoir.

You are absolutely right, that is the cruise control cable. I never even tried to fit it there.

So what is it that goes on top of that level fluid sensor? Is there a cap or something?

Nothing, it looks fine. Maybe the rubber is torn right there? hard to tell.

Yeah, it looks like maybe there was a little rubber cap or something that is supposed to go over that.
