    M10 engine chip

    i was wondering if you guys knew of anybody that sells chips for the M10 engine? i know supersprint sells them but i want to explore my options before buying one. i know you guys are going to tell me to gat a faster E30 but im sort of attached to my car. anyways any info would help....thanks.

    AFAIK, the L-Jetronic system doesn't use a chip.

      Yeah, no chip for L-jet. You can adjust timing by twisting the distributor (which is esentially the same thing has having a chip), but don't do it unless you know what you're doing.

        thats what i figured, hey when you tell me to turn the distributor do you want me to advance it....or retard it?

          Advance for more power. But if you go too far you'll get pinging which will eventually blow something up.
