    Can this foam be glued?

I took all the consoles out of my car today and cleaned them up really well with Orange Clean. As I was finishing up, I noticed that one arm of the shift console had a crack in it from top to bottom, just in the foam on the backside. Can I glue the inside of the crack, or will it melt the foam? What kind of glue should I use?

hmm, you should be able to glue it with epoxy, or try weatherstriping glue, or maybe rtv gasket. those all will work, did that make a crease on the outside?

let me know if that works.

on mine that little metal tabbed pulled out along with a chunk of foam and I used a 2 part epoxy and it worked great.

No, the ebrake console has 2 tabs that go into the end of it, and there are mounting points at each end of the "arms" also. Once the ebrake console and everything is bolted in, there's not really much need to anything else.

with the clips in, there shouldn't be a problem with thte crack. if u lost the clips, just use black zipties.

Yeah, but I'd rather have it be back together and not have to worry about it getting any worse. I'd like to try and just outright fix or replace as many things as I can. If something is broken, I don't just want to put it back together the way it is and just settle with it.
