    Ebay control arms any good?

I have been looking around for control arms and found these on ebay but am hesitant to buy them, does anyone have any experiance with them? Here is the auction that I was looking at.
    Thanks

The many misspelled words make me concerned about the quality of the parts.

OEM stuff isn't that much more is it?

i dont' know man. I bought ebay control arms/ tie rod kit and have no problem with it. I say if you want to buy ebay, "if it's not FCP groton, then don't do it" like what I did.

just ask the seller who makes it. Lemfoerder is most recommended on the boards, but I'm sure meyle will do ok. Some of the other ones like Hamburg Teknic are suspect to me, but probably just fine depending on how much you intend on stressing the suspension. Call patrick at BMA and see how close to ebay prices he can get, I'm sure he'll come close.

          i got mine there

thats where i got mine, it comes with a rubber offset bushing, you might need new dust covers and the little clips that hold them on, i still need to find a dealer and get some.

if cost is an issue why not hit up a slavage yard?

I happened to see arms for $119 on a site. I'll find it and post it.

Depends what you're looking for. If you just need something to get you back on the road, these would be fine. They're typically made overseas in China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Turkey, or other countries with less than stellar reputations for durability and longevity. While they probably all fit and work just fine initially, expect them to start clunking and squeaking not too far in down the road.

If you're looking for something to last you the next 8-10 years, you're better off with original, genuine OEM Lemfoerder suspension products. They are the genuine suppliers for BMW with these parts and are manufactured in Germany to very strict BMW guidelines. These are what we carry and recommend for our customers.

i just got my arms from FCPgroton and they look to be very nice, many other members on here have run their arms, one for over 2 years and never had problems yet. I got my tie-rods from them as well, they were made in germany.

I would never think of running 18 year old control arms from some junkyard car over new ebay ones. They will still cost you $20 an arm or so at least around here. and mine were $115+ ship.

you can usually get lemforders from fap99 for 180-190 a pair + ship, and tim is VERY reasonable on the shipping. i've got a bunch of stuff from him before and i think he charged me about 8 or 9 bucks... today I bought some brake lines, rsm plates, and a clutch stop from bimmerworld and they got me for $15 for shipping.
