    Why isnt my heat working?

Yes, i know its an E36 but i figure the cooling/heating systems can only have changed so much. Anywho...my heat doesnt work...it occasionally gives me some weak ass luke warm air out but other than that it feels ambient. I would have assumed "air in the system" but that doesnt seem to be the case...what else could cause this?

    btw i hate this fucking e36, i want my e30 back 8(

The most common cause of a lack of heat is air in the cooling system, followed by a problem with the heater valve or Climate Control unit.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Don't forget the ever popular stuck-open thermostat. You should be able to see that by the temp gauge staying unusually low, but I'm not sure when BMW went to these God-forsaken buffered idiot temp gauges.
