vernet thermostats

i just bought a an 89 325i and i think it needs a thermostat. (not sure b/c the car is not in my possession yet.) I found some thermostats on fap99. the two brands were wehler/wahler and vernet. The vernet's were half the price of the wehler thermo. about 8 dollars and some change. Does anyone have any experience with vernet thermostats? Are hey cheap b/c they are crap?

i can but what is the point if i can get one that is just as good for 8 bucks.

Well as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." I would just fork over the extra 8 dollars to get something you know has good quality. The cooling system is no joke :D

Nothing wrong with them I think. About as good as the Wahler. I think Behr is the best, but a little more expensive. I think they go for about $20 I think.

If you just want to drive to the nearest Autozone, Advance or whatever. Get a Beck/Arnley (Advance auto), if they have one.
