has anyone ever had any experience with the bar connecting the wipers snapping? cuz mine did. I was driving home on the highway and all of a sudden my wipers stopped working(this was bad because it was midnight and i was in the middle of an ice storm) after i got home I removed the external wiper assembly and also removed the plastic vents. On the driver's side wiper the bar has snapped. Anyone ever had this happed to them?

Snapped? No, but I did have the small rod come off the drivers wiper post. Stopped both sides from working. #5 in this diagram.
If thats what broke/came off, its not expensive and not too bad to replace.
