Anyone know a strut bar that will fit an e30 m10?

Even though I was pretty sure it wouldn't fit, I got to test fit a Sparco bar over the weekend. It didn't fit in two places. The distributor got in the way, and so did the fusebox. Really wierd (I dunno if it's a 318 or early model thing) but my fusebox is turned towards the passenger side and forward more than on either 6 bangers or later models. It probably wouldn't be too hard to move it back, just have to move some of the wiring harness. Anywho, here are the pics.

So...anyone seen a version that will fit?

Eric you still owe me Yuengling.

good thing i have been putting off getting one ....

the only option i know of is one that bav auto sells specifically for our cars, but it is hinged so it prolly doesnt do anything.

of course if you moved the fused box and swaped an m50 it would fit no problem :P

I don't want 6 cylinders. Not in this car anyway.

I just got a look at a BavAuto (unhinged) on the same day, and I don't think it would fit either (99%).

I am pretty sure a Racing Dynamics bar would fit.

I forget, which bar did you have? I know Mike had a BavAuto, was yours also?

Drive down to VA right quick before your surgery and let me try it. :)
