so my trunk lock broke. i went to open my trunk and it only poped part way so i pulled on it and the metal clip thinger on the lid poped off. after looking at it for like 5 mintues i think i got it put back together right. now here is the problem. it obviously isnt being held down as tight as it should be for 2 reasons:
1) there is a noticeable gap and it can be pressed down a little further
2) when my sub is going it makes a nasty rattle sound on the inside and outside of the car that it doesnt normally make that can be eliminated by pressing down on the trunk.
so how do i go about adjusting it? i tried just tightening the bolt on the retension mechanism thinger on the lid but that didnt help.
