all check control lights on

I've searched the archives, but can't find a good answer:

My 88 325is is displaying all its check panel lights (in the overhead console) all the time. The Check light on the dash isn't blinking.

It's distracting at night -- any suggestions?

i would imagine your check control module is F'ed
just pull the panel out and pull the plug out of the back
