Need help with replacing door brake and fixing my DS sport seat.. it broke

I have a 91 318is. Does anyone have a writeup that will help me replace by driver side door brake? Or can anyone explain what all is involved.

Also the other day my driver side sport seat malfunctioned.

The back half of the seat can literally be picked up, wiggled, and moved a couple inches from the drivers side of the seat. Also the handle which allows the seat to lean forward and expose access to the rear seat is no longer working. The handle is loose, and wont move the seat at all. Does anyone know what went wrong with my seat, and how I can repair it? The seat itself is in excellent shape, besides not working right.

    Thanks!

The door brake is easy. Knock the pin out of it on the body side, then take off to door panel. When you remove the 2 10mm bolts on the door the brake will come out from the inside.

The seat thing is common. There are 2 big screws (one at each corner) that hold the back rest to teh bottom of the frame. They are either loose or missing. Just pop the back cover off and you'll see em. You'll be able to troubleshoot the folding handle in there too.
