Snapped Hood Cable

Hey whats up guys. I just recently bought a 1986 325e, from a friend. ANd boy dose it need some TLC, the car is amazing the only thing is that the hood cable is snapped, how do i get the hood open? :ohsnap:

a long flathead screwdriver through the drivers side grill. there should be a little slot visable, put it in and turn counter clockwise, hood should pop right open
