Entire power lock system out

The power lock system on my car is completely dead. I can barely even lock the trunk, I have to really turn the key hard because the electrics don't work.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check the control unit under the driver's front speaker. Pop it open and you'll see a little arm thing that should have a flexible piece soldered on if the solder joint has broek n resolder and the locks should work. Or try reseting the system, go to the trunk and Turn the key all the way left and hold, then all the way right and hold then back to center. My 318i's locks have been intermitent this whole summer. People also say to clean out the driver's door wiring harness connector.
