odometer stopped working.... need help

My odometer stopped working and also the light behind the mph on the instrument cluster stopped working.

Do I need to replace a fuse? Or do I need a new cluster? Please advise.

Interesting that they both went out at the same time. If it were a fuse all your cluster lights would be out though. Sounds like a bulb burnt out. As for the odometer, common problem is the gears get old and teeth break off (usually because someone press the trip button while the car is moving). They will need to be replaced. I say take the cluster out, remove the sppedo unit, and see which gear/s is/are broken and go to odometergears.com and buy replacements. They are easy to install, and are better than the originals.

Go here for most of the instructions to get the speedo out. It's actually a how to on replacing the service interval batteries. But once you get so far into them you'll see how things work and it will be self explanatory how the speedo will come out.
