For those with the battery under the hood

The PO had a wrong style/size battery and I just recently replaced it with new of correct size etc. How is the battery supposed to stay in place ?

Does it sit right on the metal "tray" or is there supposed to be something else under the battery also ?

    Thanks

There is a small metal piece that bolts the bottom ridge of the battery down. The other side of the battery is held down by the bottom end of the windshield I guess.

good question, before i relocated mine ot the trunk, it just sat on the rusted out battery tray metal.

it was kinda oversized, so it didnt jiggle much at all.

if you are smart, you may rig some sort of tie-down for it.
