    Replacing rear hub...

I searched my Bentley manual but could not really find the information I need for this.

The reason the Bimmer I just bought was cheap is because it needs a rear hub replaced, can anyone tell me the procedure of doing this? I am going to go get the part from the junkyard tomorrow, and yes, I am going to get a used one so please don't tell me to buy a new one.

The E30 doesn't really have what I call a rear hub.

There is the drive flange, which the axles goes into on one side and the wheel/disc are on the other side.

To get them apart just follow the rear wheel bearing replacement proceedure.

    Good luck

There is a hub. Its you have to remove the wheel, brake assembly, and half shaft(axle) and the hub, You should replace the bearing whil,e you in there. BIG PITA. Good luck

Yes, it needs to be replaced because only one lug bolt threads in and it doesn't even go in right, lol.
