Just picked up the e30 today. When we arrive the seller explains that he felt bad selling us a car that was in such unknown condition so between last Sunday and today he has changed the timing belt, replaced the o2 sensor, water pump & addressed an issue relating to the fuel pump. To fix the fuel thing he dropped the tank.
All of this is nice however there is now a rattle in the exhaust that sounds around the rear section of the driveshaft or rear subframeish. Is this easy to fix or is the exhaust pretty straight forward? I'm used to 2002 exhausts which are 3-part pretty much open pipes. Is there a typical place where they hit or bang? It's louder inside the car than outside.
Thanks for any advice.
