    Air Cond. questions

What is the market like for used working AC compressors as well as upgrade systems to the new gas or newer compressors?

I don't think my AC system is working and I'd like to get it working ASAP.

I have to replace the front panel which involves removing the bumper and front panel. I figure that while i'm in there it will be a good time to pull out the compressor and take a look. Is there a way to test the compressor to see if it's still good?

Thanks for any help. I've never owned a car with AC!!!

I need to know how to check if mine is dead or still working... Could be that it works fine but I have a hole in the system somewhere else

Just so you know, 134a isn't quite as cold as R12, but it is more cost effective...

Mine was apparently converted by the P.O.
