Get an extention on there. That is how I do it.

You could also tip the trans back. Don't need to do this tho.

13mm socket-3/8" medium extensioner, universal joint and antoher extension should do.

You can probably get it from the lower bell housing cover. Just take that cover off. Universals and Swivel extensions are a savior...

If you can find one... a magnetic on a bendy stick might work IF you can get it between the flywheel/bellhousing. Otherwise... youre screwed man. Sorry.

How in the world did you break that stud? The slave cylinder is a really simple job.

What a drag. I can't think of anything that would be of any help.Split them a little and use magnet, rod, etc. Good luck.
                      Roccla has the right idea.
A universal socket is the key tool though. The uni socket, a medium extension, a universal, then another extension. It will get you in most anywhere, with leverage.
It changes the angles, gives you more feel and keeps you from stripping nuts and breaking studs.
Hold the extenion next to the ratchet, when you are ratcheting. - Steve

I'm pretty certain that you are going to need to drop the transmission to do the job correctly. These are bolts with knurled shoulders. They come out with a few modest hammer hits. As you can see, you'll need access to the other side to insert them. Once in place they are easy to seat with a nut, but you can't get past the flywheel to put them in place.

I don't expect that tapping threads in the holes will work, and it's a one-way trip to find out. You'll be enlarging both the existing holes and the mounting holes for the clutch slave cylinder. The case is a light alloy, and the clutch requires a lot of force. Once you strip the threads, it's either the next bolt size up or time for a replacement.

Guy down the road from me is a transmission guy, he said that i would be able to tap it, but i would have to use a bigger bolt, also he mentioned something about drilling a hole in the bottom of the tranny?! I know hes been doing this a long time but he said its a common problem and that hes done it befor. Im way to scared to do that so il try the magnetic stick,
