Power Windows ???

Hey guys, I got a question that you might be able to help me with.

I rebuilt my shifter and ever since then I constantly blow the power window fuse on my 85 318i. Does anyone know where the wires for the window switches go down into the tranny tunnel? A pic sure would help me out.

check your reverse light wiring. It is in the tranny tunnel and comes up through that rubber shift boot. It very commonly breaks and shorts out.
