Oil Leak - are there standard places?

After a spirited drive there is a slight oil leak. Because it is only present after spirited driving I have a feeling it could be in the oil filter housing or something more related to the oil pump rather than standard issue valve cover/sump. Sump gasket is new as is valve cover gasket. Do any of the exhaust manifold studs go through to the oil passageways?

Are there any standard places to look for an oil leak? Is there a standard oil cooler installed on an IS car? This was an automatic that was converted so the PO may have hooked up something different than stock.

    Thanks for any help.

Can you look and see what side the oil is coming from? right i say oil filter housing/filter/cooler lines, front could be seal, under probably pan. Just poke around and see where its flowing. My guess is the filter housing.
