So the two scews holding in the big Jubilee clips around the fuel filter are rusted/striped away. How should I go about getting them off. I've tried getting a flat head under them, but nothing works. There has to be some way of doing it.

i'm pretty sure you can cut them with an ordinary wire cutter.
KEEP THE DREMEL AWAY it may cause sparks and bam you'll set yourself, your car and your house on fire. Use pressure pliers to lock onto the screws idk get nasty with it and just buy a new one when you're doneNo more e30s for me.

Grip the head of the screw as tight as possible with the vise grips,to the point of smashing metal. You can use a large crescent or another set of pliers to turn it.They make vise grips in every shape and size, so you can get in there. It works.A file can make a slot for a screwdriver. I have a set of knut splitters.Last edited by bddog; 03-25-2007, 10:08 PM.
