89 325i Fog Lights

In my e36 a green light on dash comes on when the fogs are on.

Is there a way to know this in e30? Reason I ask is I believe both my fog light bulbs are dead but I want to confirm that the switch is trying to turn them on :)

There a green light for the fogs. bulb must be burnt out.

The E30 has an identical set up. The indicator is to the left of the SI lights. On my "i" cluster its the only indicator that is printed on the display (visible without having to turn on the lights). It looks like a half eye with squigly lines to the left of it.

I had your same problem a long time ago...the fogs wouldn't turn on and neither would the indicator. Turned out the bulb for the indicator was burned out and so were the fog light bulbs.
