    gas gauge

    After I finished installing my euro gauge cluster my gas gauge wont move from showing the tank as full.

    Remove the panel above the pedels and reach your hand to the left most side behind your instrument cluster. You probably remember the three (maybe two for you) larger connectors that plug into the back of your cluster? Push on the one on your far left and see if it fixes it. If it does then you will have to remove the plug and re-insert it. I had this same problem after servicing my cluster.

      also try the old gas guage, some E30's had a different fuel tank size, so the guage will read differently.

          You probably remember the three (maybe two for you) larger connectors that plug into the back of your cluster?
          I have 3 large plugs, a white, a blue, and the yellow one for the OBC. I have unplugged and reinserted them a few times. There is also a small black plug that connects to the lower center on the back of the cluster.

            My gas gauge is off a little i think,. and when I go on a twisty road it seems to go the the wrong side and starv the car on hard rights.. weird
