    fuel tank resealing

    Has anyone ever had their tank resealed. Any thoughts commments on how it turned out? thanks a lot guys.

    You can do it, depending on where its done. I would bring it to a pro because this is dangerous stuff (if your welding). Are you talking about the stuff from a parts store that just seals it up?

    That stuff works pretty good, just remember to clean the area good before you start. That should only be a temporary fix. You should replace you're gas tank if it is leaking.

      Ya I was planning on bringing it to a shop to get it done. I was just wondering how well it holds up

          I am still using the tank I sealed a year or so ago with the u.s. tank stuff sold through por-15. was easy. worked perfectly.
