    Front end clunk

After an autocross last Sunday, my car developed a nasty clunk from the front every time the wheel makes a full rotation. It is more when the wheels is pointed straight or slightly to the left. It gets worse during left turns. It kind of goes away or happens less frequently during right turns.

I've jacked up the car and the only thing I can see wrong is the front swaybar "support shackle" is totally bent out of place and hanging freely from the 13mm hex bolt But this piece doesn't rotate, so I don't think it's the culprit. When I spin the front wheels individually there is not clunking. Any ideas?

Oh yea, and I also installed hubcentric rings just before the autocross. But there was no clunking during the autocross.

i saw this thread title and thought i'd see what you described because the only clunk i know of is a sway bar problem.

try to eliminate that issue with the sway bar so you are positive thats not it. if the sway sits too far to one side, the linkage can bind. that "shackle" sounds like it could be the problem because ive heard suspension components make a rhythmic racket... uhg im tired

I vote sway bar too. Does the noise seem worse when driving over bumps?
