Over the past couple weeks the needle on the tach has started to stick. It has gotten progressivly worse and now almost always jumps up and down and often gets stuck in a position. What is the fix for this?

Bumping an olddddddd thread.
My new 325 cab has this issue. Needle sticks or doesn't react, hit the dash and it moves to a new spot and moves a bit then sticks again. When stopping it will come to rest above 1200 rpm until i hit the dash, then it drops to what i would consider normal idle and stick again or climb in surges as i accelerate.
Ideas? Si battery issue maybe? Everything else in the cluster works fine.Originally posted by codyep3I hope to Christ you have looks going for you, because you sure as fuck don't have any intelligence.

So your thinking bad tach, not a si battery or board issue? Maybe coding plug issue? Think it could be a ground issue on the cluster?Originally posted by codyep3I hope to Christ you have looks going for you, because you sure as fuck don't have any intelligence.
