How To Install Euro Bumper Trim

Do I have to take off the bumper or can I just pop it off?

It seems like it is more rigidly attached them my e36 which is very easy to just pop off.

The trim just pops off like the e36 does.

yea but don't plan on using the old trim b/c the clips break.

If you dont care for your old trim, then you dont need to take out the bumper. On the rear bumper, there are two torx bolts holding the trim at the very edges by the wheel well. I'm pretty sure the front is the same but I cannot vouch on it.

Oh cool... so you basically "break" it to remove old ones but you can put new ones on?

You can get creative with a small flat head and only snap off few of the clips, i say do this. I also say just remove your bumpers, it really easy and it gives you a chance to clean stuff really good.

I found that a 1 inch wide metal putty knife works great. One that is pretty flexible. Just slip it in the pry the trim outward. No breaking clips FTW!

If the clips break it is no big deal. I don't need them. I have new trim :)
