    gas petal removal

    It's sad, I just did the is month or two ago on a parts car, now I can't remember how?

    Do I need to disconect the top portion and flop the petal forward to get to some clips? or just pry from the bottem?

    (thanks, I searched, but I'm running out of daylight)...

      On the back side of the pedal (toward the front of the car) there are 2 plastic tabs that lock into slots in the floor. If you peel up a little carpet you'll see 2 holes where you can shove a flat head screw driver in there to release the tabs.
