Performance Tires for stock 14" Wheels

I have the stock 14" wheels on my 91 325i and I am looking to buy new tires for it. I would like a performance tire with good tread life on it. Do you guys have any suggestions?

I am just curious, what were the OEM tires on this?

Falken ziek's. there more of a daily driver/sport tire but i loved em' glued to the road excellent.

OEM on my Car was some pirellis, in size 195/65-14

I've been very satisfied with Bridgestone Potenza RE-950's in that size.

I agree with him, I have Ziex ZE-512's on my car, and I love them. They like high pressures though, like almost 40's. They felt slushy and yucky before I had them that high. Besides the fact that they have a 420 (!) wear rating, they're pretty sticky. And for 55 bucks a tire (www.tires.com), you cant beat it.
