i dunno wtf you call it, but that thing on the spring, someone give me some ideas on how to get that fucker compressed so that i can get the manifold off. I can't really get my hands in there to reach it, do i have to remove all that shit infront of it, or is there a "trick"

i can't really reach it well enough to really push down hard on it, nor can i get a good grip on it...we'll figure it out, i am going to have to get my car down off the jack stands becaues its up too high for me to reach it well. damn this being shortComment

If you're handy with a saw, take some wood and make a wedge. That way, you can get some leverage on it. When you're putting the spring back on, take some wire and compress the spring and tie it while its compressed. Then, put it in its place, and when you're ready to have it spring up, cut the wires! That's what my Dad and I did.Me: "I can't wait to redline my car!"
