    Hi! Besides the pump and the pressure regulator, what eslse can cause bad fuel pressure?

        Enough crud in the tank to plug the inlet screen, collapsed hoses, plugged filter.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

            thanks. I changed the fuel filter and disconnected the pressure regulator and replaced the pump. as soon as i rev it up, it drops a lot. its low at idle already. the lines dont leak. it only loses pressure when its warm

              That sounds like a weak high pressure pump or failure of the in-tank transfer pump.
              The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                i dont have an in tank pump. its a euro spec 323i. i just bought a new fuel pump and am going to throw it in wednesday. we'll see how she runs
