Not e30 but maybe you guys can help e36 cluster lens removal

I am helping a friend replace the gauges to white on his car BMW e36. However, after removing the 2 screws, we got the cluster out and the clear lens is intact. Is this glued or something, we need to remove it. Any ideas? Thanks.

Most likely you need to take all the screws out on the back, and split the case open.
This is how e30 VDO clusters are set up, I would imagine e36 clusters are similar.

Yes, it comes out the back. The clear plastic is glued around the front and would be ruined if removed.
