    Window Issue

Seeing as how I don't know the first thing about the window system in a car, I thought I would ask. When I roll down my passenger window it makes a horrible grinding noise. Any idea what that could be?

Ever since I got the car it wouldn't roll down at all, but the motor would sound like it was trying to, so it's getting power obviously. All of a sudden it started rolling down, but with the grinding noise. I'll take it apart and see. How much does a new motor go for, should I need one?

Motor's probably not bad. More than likely it's the slide that the window is on were the motor's gear is grinding on the gear for the window.
