    Clutch master. how to?

How do I replace the clutch master? (the one at the pedal)

    #2
    1. Disconnect the line going to the brake fluid reservoir.

    2. Unbolt the master cylinder from the pedal (2 10mm bolts holding it to the pedal set and one 13mm nut/bolt holding the top of the master cylinder to the pedal pivot arm.)

    3. From underneath the car disconnect the hard metal line going from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder where it meets the rubber hydraulic line. Then fish the master cylinder out of the car.

    4. Remove the metal line from the bottom of the master cylinder and install it on your new one.

    5. Installing the new one is the reverse of removing the old.

    6. After everything is hooked up nice and secure bleed your clutch.

Not a bad idea to replace that rubber line either.

It's a 13mm nut and a 17mm bolt on the pedal to master joint.

Replace to line while you are there, or replace with a SS braided one.
