I just installed my euro ellips (Hella). Can anyone tell me how to aim the low beams? They wont seem to stay set.

If they aren't staying "set" then you are probably missing an aiming screw. How many do you have?

As far as how to aim: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.html

Thanks guys. Yes, I have 2 screws plus an extra with a washer. It seems like if you rotate this plack plastic bit by trhe washer then it won't move much, and if you rotate it more the light will almost "bounce around".
I went for a short drive and they were set a bit low. It's too dark to mess with the lights anymore tonight. They look awesome with the Xenon's though. They are worth the $1000+ I spent on them. So, to set them more I have to adjust all 3 screws?
        Thanks.

P.S. I have run into a problem with my car. My idle is wierd and really low and it stalled while slowing down in first once. It also smells a bit rich I think. Also, the tachometer didn't work earlier, but now it's OK.
And I think I have ANOTHER oil leak. Darn these expenses.
Any suggestions on the idle problem?
        Thanks guys.

You spent $1000 on euro ellips and xenon? No offense, but you really have to learn how to shop around. You got ripped off.

Smoked Hella Euro Ellipsoids: $385 (It was $346 from Nikis-Place, but after 3 months of waiting they never delivered, I think they are bankrupt now anyway).
High beam caps and wires: $40.
              Philips/Polarion 6000K HID: $527+tax.
Not to mention all the supplies I needed to install.

You know you can get quallity hella bulbs and ballasts from www.misterjung.com His kits are under $400. Also, I have a friend who sells quality xenon kits. www.mmsport.s5.com He used to be InSpar8r on the boards, but he's busy with a new car, so he doesn't really browse much these days.

I have heard some bad things about Mr. Jung. Also, he has no clue what he is talking about on his website.
I don't know if you've ever gone here, but it's a pretty cool forum: www.hidforum.com

Cool, I never knew about that site, looks like I find another time waster. I think I've heard a few negative things about misterjung's kits also, but not sure. I'll let you know how my hid fog light and low beam intallation goes. I ordered two 6k kits and they should be goin in next week. I don't know the manufacturer, but I'veseen them installed on plenty of cars including an e30, and they look AWESOME and have had no problems what so ever. I'll let you know how it turns out.
