Water leak on Pass side - ugh?

Just picked up a 318is project - not really too bad, needs a L/F fender, etc... But, after last night's rain, the passenger side foot well is soaked. I noticed the black rain channel seemed to be separated a bit from where the A pillar curves into the roof. I whacked and glued it back into place. Does anyone think this could be the culprit??:???:
    Cheers,

    David

Check your sunroof drains, there is an article on bimmerdiy that explains it well.

      Thanks.

The sunroof drains are fine and the area under the windshield wiper grids are fine too. I'll see what happens after the next rain.
      Cheers,

So how do you go about cleaning the drains under the plastic grids below the windshield? A coat hangar??

        Thanks!
        Cheers,

Where does the water come in? I have a leak on the pass. side as well. It is coming from the center console side tho. Like where your left foot would be if you were a passenger. Only noticed it after a car wash through a car wash, not like in my driveway car wash.

              Mike,

I just found out after yesterday's rain that's exactly where mine is coming from too. There's a DIY on Bimmer forums that explains that it should be the drain holes under those plastic panels below the windshield. I'm just not sure how to unclog them.
              Cheers,

              David
