    replaced the o2 sensor....

    and now my rpm gauge stays between 0 and 3200. a normal downshift from 3rd to 2nd going 40 mph usually gets it up to 4100 but now when i do the same thing I don't even break 2000 rpms. could it be that since my battery was unplugged the SI board went nuts and effed that up? it was only for an hour.

    unplug the battery and wait 2 min then plug it and see what happens.

    i change mines with the battery unplug and nothing happen everything ran normal.

      Ya, what he said. You could also try to touch the two DISCONNECTED battery cables together. This resets everything in the car.
