Is it me? or OEM is the same price if not cheaper

    Just got an
    OEM performance ignition wire
    Part # : 12120407867 comes with sensor.
ordered it from BMW, like 10 min down the road from me.

147 - with tax and CCA discount.

compare to I.E. at 136.00 + shipping, its practically the same price. Besides the dealer offers it in Black :)

its the same stuff, why would anyone buy anywhere other than the dealer? unless its proprietary stuff like UUC SSK or something of that sort?

Just thought I share on some price count.

Occasionally you will find a 3rd party part that is better than the oem. But, IMO, for the most part there is no reason to go with anythign other than oem.

And then you will also find that the stealership will sell 3rd party parts to keep their profit margin high.
