    inputting radio cide

    HI,
I recently purchased a 1991 325IC and removed the battery. I must enter the radio code to get the radio to work again. I have the code, but don't know how to enter the code. BMW told me to leave the ingition on for an hour and the code display will go out and then i was to enter the code. this does't work the code ligh doesn't go out. What is the procedure for entering the code. Any help would be appreciated.
    thanks

Code will show after one hour of the key in the ignition when turned to accessories. Enter the code, if successful it will go to a default radio frequency. Does it beep at you when you put in the code? If so you might have the wrong code.
